BD’s Libertas™ Wearable Injector is a prefillable drug delivery system for combination biologics with viscosities in a variety of configurations and can be used at home or in clinical settings. The device features a mechanical spring-based power source, eliminating battery or heavy metals disposal concerns. It is designed for pharma fill/finish using standardized syringe tubs and commercial prefillable syringe filling equipment and processes. Benefits include no patient filling or assembly, hands-free drug delivery, automated needle insertion, and passive needle retraction.
